Already June… I find myself thinking wistfully that half the year has already gone by.
With the intense rush around Golden Week still fresh in my mind, I’m feeling a bit of that May-June slump vibe. (Though I haven’t actually taken any time off…)
I need to keep up with this blog, which I’ve been neglecting. Here’s the latest SV650 job request.
At first glance, it looks stock.
You know how motorcycle-related instruction manuals always have plenty of warnings like “Danger!” “Careful!” “We don’t know!” “Not our responsibility!” but often skip the actual important installation steps?
Maybe that’s why you can just search online… I guess it works out since it’ll only go on one way anyway.
Looking back at the estimate I made the other day… I have to say, wow. We even did a gun coat on it.
The mounting position was pretty tricky, honestly. The front fender and fork guard come up from below. But you want to keep it close to the light, and if you stick it out too far, the bracket could bend in that direction… and so on.
