Inazuma 1200 Full Power Upgrade [Final Chapter] Engine Awakening with T-REV Installation. Test Run Log to Oamishirasato “Historic Farmhouse Noodle Kuroageha Morizumi”
The Inazuma 1200 to GSF1200 conversion is finally complete. This was my first time doing this work on a stock Inazuma 1200 frame, so I had some struggles.
Now we’ve got the true 1200cc power and torque.
Today’s Custom & Lunch
Custom: Teramoto Auto T-REV (Crankcase Pressure Control Valve) Installation.
Effect: Engine braking becomes milder, throttle response even lighter. The jerky feeling disappears, transforming into “silky oil cooling.”
A trending restaurant opened in Oamishirasato by Chef Koji Morizumi, a ramen master who earned a Michelin star.
The “soy sauce ramen” served in this 150-year-old historic farmhouse has a refined and profound flavor with concentrated umami from premium ingredients.
Conclusion: Both the machine and my stomach were satisfied—the perfect finale.

The tricky part with installing parts like this is deciding “how much effort to put in?” More time means higher labor costs.
But you want it to look clean and neat, right? I’m building it in a way that’s hassle-free for future removal and maintenance.
The Inazuma 1200 full power upgrade plan is finally reaching its final touches. The last piece is the **”T-REV”**. This magical valve optimizes crankcase pressure, reducing the resistance that impedes piston movement (pumping loss).
Installation involves splicing it into the blowby hose. It’s an unassuming part, but the effect is tremendous. “Engine braking becomes milder” and “revs smoothly all the way up”—there’s a satisfying feel you notice the moment you ride it.
After installation, I took it straight out for a test ride. The harsh “jolt” when releasing the throttle is gone, replaced by a smooth gliding sensation. The BST36 carb’s power is being refined beautifully by the T-REV. This is effortless!
This is actually a second attempt. I visited before but they happened to be closed that day, and I never got another chance to go back. Since I could use the highway, I decided to make the trip.
Riding with confidence all the way to Oamishirasato, I arrived at **”Historic Farmhouse Noodle Kuroageha Morizumi”**. This is Chef Morizumi’s restaurant, famous for “Chabu-ya.”
The entrance alone exudes an extraordinary atmosphere. I ordered the signature **”soy sauce ramen”** (or umeboshi dashi ramen). One sip of the clear broth and the umami from both animal and seafood bases floods your palate. The noodle texture, the quality of the chashu pork, and the historic farmhouse setting—everything was a feast.
I had the black ramen and water dumplings. There were several groups waiting in line, so I almost turned back, but I decided to wait. It was so delicious I want to go back again (*´ω`*)
The restaurant is spotless and the owner is cool. I thought it was a wonderful place.
I’ll be adjusting the baffle and ignition timing while riding. Keeping the baffle in felt better overall.
Today’s also relatively warm, so GERUGA GR-J-168 WIND PARKA Surprisingly, even with the hood, it doesn’t flap around. It’s clearly designed with motorcycle riding in mind—very functional. On top of that, I layer GR-V-27B NEIL VEST —that’s the Solomon way.
The ultimate heated gloves. Warmth makes all the difference
I’ve been using heated gloves every time I ride since I got them. The hassle of putting them on and the poor control are in a league of their own! I understand why many people buy them but don’t use them, but here’s the thing: having warm hands the entire ride is incredible. You don’t need to do that winter thing of touching the engine to warm up. That warmth becomes constant (*´ω`*)
Every time I use them, I think there’s no reason to suffer. Though I do feel lazy about putting them on and taking them off, considering what you gain, I can’t live without them.
They’re built pretty solid and sturdy. Having warmth across your entire hand and fingers is a real lifesaver this time of year.
Should I buy now or wait until October-November? Tough call.
The CVK32 is a good balance at 32. Going to 36 feels a bit floatier and more enjoyable to rev. The Michelin POWER6 also has a natural handling feel—very nice.
The Watanabe full power kit gives excellent starting and strong acceleration. With the T-REV smoothing out engine braking, downshifting is now effortless.
Title: Inazuma 1200 Project Final Chapter: T-REV Installation & Michelin Star Chef’s Ramen.
Custom: Installed the T-REV valve to reduce engine braking and pumping loss. The engine now feels incredibly smooth and revs freely. Lunch: Visited “Komin-ka Noodle Kuroageha Morizumi” in Oamishirasato. This ramen shop is run by Chef Yasuji Morizumi, the first ramen chef to receive a Michelin star. Verdict: The Inazuma 1200 is finally complete. The ride quality is superb, matched only by the exquisite soy sauce ramen I had for lunch.
