GS1200SS Plasma Booster OHLINS Steering Damper and More

The deadline is approaching fast! I’m getting a bit rushed. Here we go~

Okada Projects Plasma Booster.
Multi-spark tuned to the engine type is the key feature. It feels like combustion improves and smooths out.
Soft Plasma Booster, hard Plasma V+.

Even if it breaks, the engine still runs, so it’s a safe design.

When I line up electrical components as much as possible, everything looks neat when it’s all taken apart.

I found a spot to mount it, so I’m heading straight there~
First I made parts A and B.

Then I combined A and B.

I mounted it on the HID bracket I was already using—a bit of a shortcut, I apologize.

That’s how it turned out. I also restored the position lamp.

As always, I’ve set it up with a connector you can unplug and plug in to feel the difference.

I checked with an oscilloscope to confirm multi-spark operation. This is the standard waveform.
It’s pretty jagged.

After multi-spark, it’s clean and smooth—you can see the sparks firing rapidly. Visual confirmation makes me feel confident too!

Undercowl stay fabrication and fastener conversion. I only got three spots done before running out of material.
I really felt how convenient a laser cutter is~

The somewhat newly updated OHLINS steering damper.

The N-brand one ranges from too weak to too strong, sometimes hindering handling.
That’s when an effective steering damper comes in handy.
Going fast on the highway, you hit a bump—bang!—the front lifts and starts shaking, and the damper suppresses it.
The rear slides on something—wham!—it suddenly snaps back and starts shaking, and the damper suppresses it.

I think what works best is something soft at low speed but firm when things get sudden.
