Hooray! Shin-Hotaka parking lot. Air cleaner box intake.
Moving on to the front wheel. The bearings look fine.
The axle runout is zero—excellent condition.
I cleaned the inside of the fender and applied rust preventative.
The front caliper was in great shape too.
Once in a while, I give the disc holes a good scrub.
By the way, there’s this much dirt difference between left and right.
Then I degreased and cleaned the surface with brake cleaner. Pretty dirty.
The fluid was clean. I replaced both front and rear with Golden Cruiser DOT4.
The spark plugs were old and black, so I replaced them.
A receipt was inside? Pretty surprising!
The air filter was reused this time.
Let’s clean and lubricate both pedal shafts. (I forgot to photograph the left one.)
Synchronization checked out fine.
The engine oil is MOTO4 TECH 10W-50.
