The wheels are Marchesini 3R.
The color will be Asura Baron on the left and right.

I skipped the lucky day update… but I had some material to work with, so that helped. I’m changing the bearings to 20mm inner diameter. Well, the axle was 20mm anyway.
17mm would work fine too. I could go up to about 25mm, but I’ll skip it because it’s too much hassle.

I matched the overall width of the leftover distance collar, and the distance collar (provisional) is complete. I’ll remake it in aluminum since I’ll remove it during painting.

I went with Sunstar Neo Classic for the disc.
It’s 320mm on the GSX1100S. There’s no particular reason—it just happened that the caliper and fork setup was 320mm.

Pads are Metallica sintered.

Fork is Advantage Showa 41mm.
Free length 800mm.
Extension pressure with initial adjustment.
Grooved protrusion (inner tube).
A very rare product? With such low demand, it seems like it might disappear.

You can adjust it by turning without tools.

Without the support, it becomes much simpler.
After I mill and finish the bottom case, the sketchy factor will go way up, you know?
Working backward from the fork, wheel, and disc, I can finally see the fork span. I’ll source that span from the used market, mock it up to check for tank clearance, and then I want to make a custom one-off stem.
Air-cooled bikes have fewer parts, so maybe progress will be faster than expected?
Next lucky day update is scheduled for 11/3 (Friday).
