I have to come up with content somehow, so progress is moving along steadily.

I’m still torn on whether to use a hinge, but if I do, it’ll be mounted almost directly and kept low.
This tandem side. If nobody’s riding it, I can eliminate almost all the foam padding and raise the top surface, which should create quite a bit of space underneath. I’d like to fit a rain jacket in there.
The stem from a used GSXR1100J I bought recently was bent, so I tossed it and temporarily fitted an SV400 stem as the next candidate.
Installed dummy bearings top and bottom—fitting checks out.

The fork hasn’t arrived. The bodywork hasn’t arrived. The engine hasn’t come in. I can still back out… maybe.
