Progress is slow and steady, one step at a time, though momentum is hard to build. The content is always a bit thin.
5052/T=5MM—chosen so it can be welded later and bends easily.
When I’m not paying attention, the bend doesn’t come out clean—I don’t notice until after the first piece is done.

Radius on all edges for a smooth finish
I haven’t installed the turn signals yet, so I can’t cut weight holes.
Widening the fork span seems like the safest bet. When you turn the handlebar, it gets really tight and the steering angle is limited.
A top bridge with sloped shoulders looks too tight, so I’ve decided on clip-on bars.
Tank arrived.
Temporarily fixed in place by eye. A single analog meter is simple, but something feels missing.
Making it asymmetrical might look cool.
