I’m reflecting on how I almost delivered the bike without remembering most of the work I was supposed to do.
Let’s proceed step by step.

PAMS MOSFET/turn signal relay
Shorai battery
Honda starter relay and more to install.

The size is completely different, so major relocation is necessary. Installation and function alone would be quick, but…

Modern starter relays are convenient. First, they have a plastic body that looks waterproof.

Installation is easy! A U-shaped bracket makes for simple mounting and floating. No bolts or nuts needed for securing.

And the unit itself has a 30A fuse built in, so no need for aftermarket installation. If it blows, everything shuts off.

Connector plugs in with confidence. Check the polarity yourself.
Starter switch (+) and (-), plus constant 12V at two locations. There’s even a two-pole option for direct battery connections. Really helpful.

I’m using the stock starter lead to avoid hassle (though I’ll shorten it). It has a connector too, which is a lifesaver.

Installed Honda sports grip heaters.

The throttle clearance is about 0.8mm thick and the throttle won’t move… I hand-filed just the travel area with a file.

Keep it as straight and parallel as possible.

By the way… it’s almost a full day’s work.
Measure the wire length, cut it, crimp, solder, clean the flux—that’s one connection. Times many, all done neatly without excess length.
Once it’s done, it should be reliable for years to come. Maybe it’s kind to both me and the owner.
