Since removing the single seat cover is a hassle, we’re going with a zipper instead.

Personally I don’t like drilling holes in the frame, but since they said “no problem at all,” we’ll go ahead. The countersunk rivets look great flush with the surface.

The tank is leaking from somewhere. His condition looks pretty much like that’s definitely the issue.

When we clean it, it seems to seep along the cut wiring. Rather than fuss with that, I thought, why not just put in a bolt? So I’m checking various parts lists.

I found a blind plug for an oil passage like this. There might be a hex head one if we search, but since there’s no end to it, we’re prioritizing speed.
