RVF400 NC35 – This bike is only 400cc but it runs incredibly well and I still love it (*´ω｀*) It gives off such a great riding feel and leaves a really positive impression.
Actually, I think I’ve always liked this mid-size range? That’s what I’ve been thinking lately.
I have quite a bit of other work piled up, but I’m going to knock out the simpler jobs first!
It’s turned out looking pretty rough. The owner prepared the brake pedal for me, so I’ll swap it out quickly.
In the end, you have to remove everything to lock it – a bit awkward. It would be easier if they cut threads on the plate side so you could run the bolt through from the outside.
You can run the bolt through from inside the pedal, and if you cut threads on the plate and secure the protruding bolt with a nut, I think it would be safer.
With this setup, you definitely need to apply thread locker or it’s a bit scary.

The benefit of a Pro Arm? Changing the sprocket from the outside
I’m changing the sprocket to shorten the final drive a bit. When I work after a while, I don’t quite remember, “Can you do it from the outside?”
Since so many different bikes come in, my memory’s a bit fuzzy (*´ω｀*)
Nice! As expected, the Pro Arm made the swap successful. I had to loosen the chain quite a bit to get it in.
I don’t have the energy to remove the undercowl and change the oil right now, so I’ll continue after the break.
