I have a spare fuel pump on hand, so swapping it out is quick.
When you line them up side by side, they look completely different…
From the side, you don’t notice much difference though? It’s well designed.
The right side doesn’t make contact~
The left side is out~
The handlebar lock barely engages at this position…
As a self-imposed rule, I’d like at least 10mm of clearance between the handlebar and tank. I thought about welding a stopper to the stem side, but it was designed so elegantly that the stopper wouldn’t be visible. For now, I’ll put it back and tackle it another time~
