Word from the master that fitting is complete. I’ve received them.
As always, my own bike uses different wheel brands front and rear.
Front is a sand-cast Campagnolo 2.50-18
I had it as a spare for the GS1000S but wasn’t using it, so I’m putting it on the CB1100.
The nice thing is that if I remove the hub and replace the bearings and such, I can restore it to original.
I thought adding material would be safe, but it sticks out so much—I’m amazed.
Still, it’s impressive how cleanly it machines.

Wow. The master really did fit it skillfully—even the ABS fits in. Looks like a production part.
As for how much material was added… well, it’s thick.
Various sections were lightened too. After anodizing and filling with α14, it’ll be ready to ride. Should be around February.
If the wheels are painted differently on the right and left sides, there will be a nice difference in how they look from the right versus the left.
Well, as usual, it’s not something that appeals to the general public.
