The parts have arrived, so let’s finish it up.
The 90-degree vent is very awkward with RCS. The basic principle that applies to all hoses is that it’s better to use them with a gentle radius without bending too much.
Like anything else, the important thing is to check first.
I checked both left and right calipers and pads. I gave them a light degreasing.
The T-fit ended up in the horn position, but we were able to secure it with a co-bolt. The horn is also fixed in place with a stopper around it.
Having the front stand usable as-is is good manners.
Tight on top, tight on bottom—the RVF400 was surprisingly easy to install.
If it were semi-radial, it would have gone on as-is.
It’s clean with just the length needed.
There’s no impact on meter visibility.
The fork is the same—steering is smoother too.
