Let’s chamfer the top bridge with an R3 radius and polish it up nice and clean.
The generic milling finish has a really nice rough texture to it. These days with all the machined parts looking so clean, I wonder if the era of sand-cast mag wheels will make a comeback.

I’ll chamfer the top and bottom outer edges with an R3 radius. Just this alone makes a huge difference in how it looks.
The top surface had heavy corrosion that wouldn’t come completely clean, but it’s still dramatically better now.
I’d like to do the under bracket too, but I’ll save that for when I disassemble the front end.
Having the right machines and tools makes every job go faster and smoother. With the right tools, what seems impossible becomes possible—it takes time, sure, but the final result is dramatically better.
