It’s wise to replace a main harness that’s starting to deteriorate while OEM parts are still available. (Parts cost separate.)
Since OEM parts are still being made, you can feel confident. Once they stop, it’s too late. If you replace it once, I don’t think you’ll need to do it a second time.
We add one connector each for the ETC and meter side. It looks cleaner if you run the power and ground in parallel.
Try to avoid shared-fastener grounds.
There are unnecessary connectors and such in several places, probably because this harness is shared with something else. Checking them all takes a bit of work. I think it turned out nice and clean though.
Using about ten cable ties at most is better, I think. If you consider the shape and layout, you can route it with the minimum needed. A little more bundling and we’re done.
