In testing, the Alster (steel) isn’t burning as much anymore. This is convenient.
Daihen Inverter Elecon 300P. To adjust the pulse width, you remove the panel and turn this small dial, or so I’m told.
I also contacted Daihen based on a rumor that there’s an aftermarket kit, but they said there isn’t one.
So there’s no choice but to drill a hole in the panel to adjust it from the outside.
I’ll use a laser to mark the position.
Someone suggested I could just desolder and add a potentiometer, but… that’s scary.

Not burning much. Next time I’ll dial in the settings with a stainless pipe and get the positioner SET dialed in, then it’ll be easy to weld.
If anyone knows about aftermarket options, I’d love to hear about them.
