The drive side uses a clip-type anti-slip floating sprocket, just like Honda.

Striking it causes the countershaft to rattle, so be careful. With this type, it’s best not to skimp on the drive sprocket.

The customer wanted to replace the main harness, but it’s already discontinued. We considered adapting something else, but with so many electrical gadgets, it’s faster to build a new one.
The reason for replacement was that the top box occasionally wouldn’t open. This time we’re installing an analog emergency release to get by.

The wire is Shimano Dura-Ace bicycle cable—supple and excellent. We’ll crimp the sleeve.


The photo shows temporary mounting. We’ve shortened the bolt. Now you can open both the top box and fuel filler door with the cable.
