
There’s a slight problem though. The handlebar stopper bolt is pretty galled up.

I’ll deburr and check the fit. The stem stopper bolt position was tricky, so I went through an endless cycle of grinding and fitting, grinding and fitting.

It’s reassuring to visually inspect the races.

I’ll apply Neutech NC100 grease and assemble it.

The fork oil is pretty worn out.

The caliper center is off, making the wheel rotation heavy.
Whether the dimensions are fundamentally wrong from disc to disc and caliper center to caliper center, or if it’s something like wheel bearing wear, it’s important to look at the numbers.
