Now that the inspection is complete today, we’ll proceed with the oil-cooled maintenance.
The engine damper showed moderate wear.
The generator damper wear wasn’t severe either.
The generator drive gear is press-fitted to the primary reduction. If play develops in this press fit, it mainly results in increased noise.
There was some play, but it should be fine when we remove the clutch.
The generator connector is a harsh environment where high amperage flows continuously.
It turns white, but it’s the same shape. We won’t change it to a different shape even when replacing it in the future.
This side stand boss with the lateral stopper is quite tricky and tends to loosen. It might be better to use a locking pin or adjust the top and bottom.
