I didn’t come specifically to see Doraemon, but there were so many life-size figures that I couldn’t help but notice.
I noticed the NEX7 didn’t have batteries in it. I’m glad the D800 was in my bag.

Gaudí’s drawings have fine lines and excellent descriptive power—I was amazed that such detailed work was possible a century ago. His various works incorporated the natural world around us—animals, plants, and the undulations of waves and wind—and
he was a master at bringing them together. That’s how he must have been.
The idea of the inverted hanging model that became the origin of the Sagrada Familia is amazing too. I can’t wait to see the real Sagrada Familia.
You can take a bus from Roppongi to Omotesando for just 100 yen. There’s no need to use the Ginza Line anymore.
I thought about going to a soba restaurant, but the semi-basement shop flooded from the recent rain. No sign of recovery—flooding leaves a smell, you know.
