Brake caliper maintenance + aluminum piston conversion
I’d say most customers’ calipers don’t come in surprisingly bad condition.
No major rust—it looks good.
The seal groove shows no significant corrosion either—excellent condition.
It’s wonderful to see the dust seal groove so clean.
The Bandit 1200’s interior doesn’t have anodizing on it. This caliper is in great shape.
It’s tedious work: wash, polish, wash, polish, repeat.
