A slightly high-rise throttle replacement was requested.
About 2.4 mm, I’d say. It fit safely into the throttle case.
The throttle protruded from the sleeve, so we trimmed it, but it’s about 10 mm short now… hmm.
The appearance isn’t great like this.
We lightly welded the pipe in just two spots so it can be reversed.
We painted it black for cosmetic purposes. Please forgive the slight difference in the pipe’s outer diameter.
We cleaned it up as much as possible,
The breather hose had become hardened plastic, so we replaced it.
Maintenance is nearly complete, and we expect to finish up this week with the inspection.
