Parts haven’t arrived and there’s talk of a backorder, so I’m sensing a hold-up ★
The cleaning bath additive arrived, so I soaked it in the tub

No way ~ welding cast iron is super tough, and this is a thin small part
After a light grind
It was just the casting surface! Safe
It’s come out quite clean now ★
It might be interesting to put the vacuum on the side link? Still thinking it over ~
Putting this on hold for now ~
