Well, well.
The cause was one

replaced front fender
Lately I’ve only been working with stabilizer-type fenders and plastic fenders,
so I’d gotten lazy about it ★
Axle → lower it → stroke → clamp → fender
move it and position it where it sits well ★
With these 18–19 inch wheels, once you put the wheel on,
the fender bolts are hard to tighten, so I did it first and messed up.
And between the fork and fender,
I wanted to spread it so it would fit snugly,
but that didn’t work,
so I used washers to make it snug

Hey! Once I installed it, one spot started stretching!
So I put in a helicoil…

Hey! A ball fell inside the lens!
Ugh.
