There’s a round bracket on it! I didn’t notice that.
This oil cooler moves around quite a bit . . . .
You’ll need a lower bracket.
DIY is pretty doable★
But did it fit as-is?
Without some modification, the stock hose bend would be tight.
The hose crimp section and the engine hanger weld nut section are
in contact—boom.
The hose gets a hole and goes “pssshhh.”
Once I spotted it, I had to fix it.
I made a crab clamp
and fixed the lower side.
With an ultra-low-profile bolt, it won’t contact the hose★
I secured the hose with an M5 and shrink tubing★
Cable ties can weaken from heat, so metal is the safe and secure choice!
I also bent the pipe to avoid contact.
When you put the muffler back on, always check for contact or you’ll get “pssshhh.”
