So I was asked to anodize the handlebar★
But the grip heater wouldn’t come off no matter what, so I’ve been putting it on hold!
They said it’s okay if I break it
So I’m going to go at it hard, but I’d really rather not break it…
There’s a lot of press-fit and adhesive, so it’s super tight with no room for air
The cleaner doesn’t seem to soak in much either
The belt wrench isn’t working great either… maybe I’ll use a slide hammer to pull it out~

First, let me crank the heater all the way up! Get it nice and hot
Spray cleaner through the gap “pshhh” — oh! It moved a little!
Yeah! It came out without breaking! Nice!
I’ll get it polished up nice since I’ll catch grief if I don’t.
It’s not clear coat, right? Let me do a power test just in case
It’ll stay like this for now.
