This is a really nostalgic Katana.
It’s a GSX1100S that I got to handle when it was at Asakawa’s place.
It was a complete J Classic bike back then,
and it’s the Katana that Asakawa completely overhauled for me before I went to AS. ☆
It happened to come by, and there were a few minor issues, so we took a quick look and wrapped it up.
Anyway, time for a test ride! ☆
Ah, feels just right! ♪ A really easy-to-ride bike.
What stands out is that the suspension has excellent initial response, yet it holds firm when you really push it.
The seat height and firmness are perfect.
The carburetor was changed from an RS to a TMR-MJN, and it’s even easier to ride now.
I’m happy to see a clean bike, but when it’s too clean, it makes me nervous!
