Some enthusiastic folks were gathering classic bikes to head out to Tsubaki,
and since the weather was nice and I hadn’t put gas in this bike all year anyway,
I figured I’d tag along partway.
Since it was my first outing in a while, I somehow ended up waking up at 4:30 in the morning.
I made a lunch box first,
but it was still too early to watch TV.
I figured I’d head to the shop and throw on some wax.
Since we were meeting at 8, I left early and grabbed breakfast at McDonald’s.
The weather was nice, so there were lots of cars out.
We gathered at Kohoku PA on the Tomei Expressway, and while I was casually looking at everyone’s bikes,
I noticed one bike was missing a rear caliper bolt.
The other one was loose too.
But since a neighbor was there, we all helped get it bolted back on, and then I headed back to work.
I had to get back to the shop, you know.
