10 years, 43,000 kilometers
This is the first overhaul of the swingarm and linkage area.
Looking at it from the outside, it seems pretty clean.
There’s no severe rust or corrosion visible, but the color has definitely faded in spots.
That’s just something you have to accept to a certain degree.
The swingarm doesn’t spin around freely, so the same spot keeps rubbing against something.
Eventually that one area wears down, and once it starts, it gets worn away more and more, until it stops working smoothly.
Alright, we’ve got all the parts lined up, so let’s clean and replace them.
