A day off with clear skies—couldn’t be better.
Today I’m heading out to Roppongi to catch the movie “His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass.”
What, watching that kind of movie? Well, a fantasy enthusiast has to see all sorts of things.
On the way, I stop by my favorite udon place, Tsurutontan, for lunch.
Cream mentaiko udon.
I thought it would be cold, but it was hot—and delicious!
After the movie, I head to Tokyo Midtown and make my way to the front of the Yoroizuka shop.
Even though it’s not yet 6 p.m., there’s a sign saying entry starts at 7 p.m.…
I wander around inside for about five minutes, but there’s nothing fun to see, so I leave…
I found a new okonomiyaki place in Ebisu.
It was terribly bad—I can’t even mention the name. Worst…
