Drawbacks of open-type batteries

Hydrogen gas and dilute sulfuric acid mist are slightly emitted from the battery,
which corrodes the surrounding area.

The battery breather hose is quite important;
if it gets crushed in the layout, it puts pressure on the battery
or the hose can come off from the pressure and damage the harness and frame.

Also, during charging or after riding, hydrogen gas comes out from the breather hose,
so the battery can easily explode from sparks from a grinder.
It’s a battery that requires careful handling in many ways.

AGM battery with the same size that can be converted to MF as-is

The terminal width is slightly different,
so depending on the model, some minor modifications may be needed.

No special voltage control like a regulator is needed, so it’s simple.
