Unfortunately the weather’s bad, so I can’t make it to the inspection. I’ll get ahead on other work instead★
It’s a GSF750. 36,527 kilometers on the clock. It’s already leaking oil from the head cover, which works out perfectly.
Now let’s take a look inside. I found one spot of scuffing (though it’s so small it barely counts).
The engine internals aren’t exactly pristine. The inner walls are dirty—probably an oil maintenance issue.
No slack in the cam chain, and cranking is smooth!
The valve clearances were off across the board, so I adjusted them.
Once I tighten the head cover back on, it’s lunchtime!
