Road Rider magazine’s GSF1200★
Apparently quite a few people have never seen it or don’t know about it, so here’s a brief introduction from Road Rider magazine.
You could say this was really the beginning of the current GSF craze era…
Back then, the impression of the GSF that Asakawa was riding was really strong, and I sometimes wonder if he still owns a GSF today.
That’s what I think.
This GSF has been on trips to Autopolis, toured around Kyushu, gone on touring rides, and hit Daiko on weekends.
It’s a machine full of memorable moments.
The theme was to bring out the bike’s natural qualities without major modifications, and back in an era when the internet and parts weren’t as abundant as they are now,
it was a machine that taught me a lot.
