Hmm, I get sleepy when it’s cold, but I’m drowsy even when it’s warm.
After all, I’m just an animal—can’t be helped.
Now, off to the Shinagawa Land Transportation Office to file for an inspection and structural modification (engine) with love.
First stop: the headlight tester shop…
Sure enough, it’s dim.
I’ve been dealing with the tester shop for about fifteen years now, so they lend me bulbs and everything.
They lend me tools and help me out in all sorts of ways. Really helpful.
So I borrowed a bulb and headed to the inspection.
I thought the two-wheeler line might be crowded, but when there’s a difficult customer, nothing moves forward.
The renewal inspection went smoothly, and next was the structural modification paperwork.
It’s been a while since I did this, so I went in half-remembering, but no problems. Book your inspection appointment early!
“Well, the fastest would be Thursday the 19th, but it’ll be crazy crowded.”
Ugh, okay, let me book it for the 23rd, please.
“Well, it’s end of month, so the 23rd will be packed too.”
I want to get it done quickly anyway, so that works. License plate, here we go!
The bicycle parts I ordered from the US the other day arrived! They were supposed to come between the 25th of this month and the 5th of next month, but they got here early.
Some things are only sold over there, so I’m grateful for the power of the internet.
The timing of my return and the appointment lined up perfectly, so I swapped out the clutch on the GSF1200.
Finally time to eat!
