Continuing with the GSXR1100 ★ We don’t have the special chisel for pulling bearings, but I think I lent it to MJ the other day
Where did it end up? We removed it with another heavy-duty chisel, so please remember. It’s not in the special tool box either
An upper seal from a completely different model year was installed. It’s touching the fairing stay and wearing down.
The outer diameter is that different ★ Wow
There was still a decent amount of grease in there.
The race contact is pretty decent…
Before disassembly the steering was quite heavy and stiff, so I’m sure it’ll feel a lot better to ride once we’re done.
