The AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED has been
a bit unreliable with autofocus—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t…
It was still under warranty, so I sent it in for repair and it came back.
In the meantime I picked up a 105mm, so the 60mm is no longer needed★
Plus the 60mm has no VR, while the 105mm has VR
VR is essential when shooting macro or telephoto with camera shake.
