It was one of those days where one thing led to another—and then some more.
The trendy handlebar weights are the expanding type with rubber.
Bought without checking the handlebar inner diameter and bar end outer diameter compatibility.
= Couldn’t make it work, so I wrapped it with tape to cover it up = Then I found out and got stuck.
In the end, it’s a rigid fixed setup.
The long reservoir tank went from being held with zip ties to being secured with a band and bracket.
The reservoir tank mounting bracket was also changed.
When there’s distance to cover, a round rod and collar look fantastic.
But our shop doesn’t usually stock stainless steel materials, so I made do with sheet metal.
Since there were no wing bolts, I attached a wing nut and bolt instead.
I also installed the reflector—though the owner was right there watching.
