Converting the handlebar to metric and the switches to metric too—that’s domestication.

I couldn’t find retail options, so I went with a Daytona set.
It’s from a maker called DEUTSCH.
They also handle metacons like Souriau, so it’s interesting material for someone who loves components.
Speaking of Souriau, that means STACK.

Tube-shaped (with a divider). I have various crimping pliers, but which one is the best?

I checked the OEM connector before installing—it’s a different shape.
As long as the crimp is clean, it’s OK, so I’ll go ahead and solder it for safety.

I like the connector claw-lock style.
I try to avoid the type where you bend the tabs on the crimped terminal unless it matches the OEM design.

Verification is visual, so it takes a lot of work—and I have to do it for both the Harley side and the Honda side.

Headlight ON/OFF, HI/LO, horn, pass, turn signals
I noticed after installing it—the Harley method is different!
Well, I’ll figure it out tomorrow.
Ciao!
