It’s cleaner to remove it with a puller rather than a slide hammer.
Since it was pretty rough, we heated the swingarm before extracting it. It came out with quite a sharp finish.
It seems like the Inazuma 1200 and GS1200SS tend to develop rust more often. Both models can have quite a bit of play in the pivot, so adjusting it with shims should work well without having to tighten the frame.
Rear maintenance will be an additional overhaul, so please understand.
