Let’s go with the plan of not ordering a hamburger at the Hamburger Shop.
The side menu is abundant and has no compromises—I really like that feeling.
It’s not heavy and goes down light. The salt flavor is subtle too—very nice.
They have plenty of craft beers, but I ended up ordering draft. I’m a safe bet—I basically stick to bottles everywhere.
I’ve had the rare experience of draft beer where I couldn’t even tell which brewery it was from and it smelled off, so I’m still a bit traumatized by it.
Shrimp is great… make sure you go all the way to the tail.
I just found out that I can take a direct bus from the nearby stop all the way to Meguro Station. That’s really useful, and I’m finally starting to figure out how to use the bus app.
Today was also very pleasant weather—the morning stayed below 30 degrees Celsius, and ideally the evening would be nice and cool. Waking up to over 30 degrees is really depressing.
Evian was at a good price at the pharmacy right in front, so I picked up a case. I’ve recently realized that most of the cost of bottled water is probably just the container.
