The parts have arrived, so let’s continue.

It’s quite a niche engine. When I start it up and inspect it, do I have to remove the carburetor every time I make an adjustment? That seems to be the case.

You need to know the current state. If you also know the difference between the float level and the actual fuel surface, it will be easier to pinpoint the reason when a problem occurs.

The angle at which the carburetor is tilted also matters. Of course, you need to check and adjust the carburetor angle at positions 1 through 4.

When you push down hard, the float immediately contacts the body. There are all sorts of designs, which is interesting.

I’ve removed the connecting bolts, so there’s quite a bit of misalignment.

I’ve set it to this point. Putting it on hold for now.
