When you touch it, it crumbles to pieces. We should definitely announce when a certain distance or time has passed.
It’s in quite a state.
After polishing, it cleaned up nicely, so we decided to reuse it. The step wear doesn’t seem as bad as we thought.
We gave it a light polish. With the wide clearance, it rocks back and forth quite a bit, so both sides have developed contact marks.
Apparently various parts are mixed and matched. We got curious and decided to check just to be safe.
The sprocket backing collar dimensions differ between K-type and L-type, so we need to check when replacing the wheel.
It turned out fine, so we’re relieved.
The clutch feel has become much more solid.
