Let’s clean and assemble it.
I reflect on this every time. I wonder if I could do it faster, more efficiently, and more cleanly… I wonder if I could measure more efficiently… If I could save time, it would lead to more breathing room.

Originally it’s in this condition. There are limits to what you can do by hand polishing. By applying the minimum necessary polishing to smooth the surface, we can prevent corrosion and the operation should become smoother.

Seal inspection is necessary. Since this is brake work, peace of mind leads to safety.

Once we get here, things can only get better. We apply metal rubber and assemble.
It’s better not to use grease-based products on caliper seals if possible. The advantage of grease is that it stays in place. However, when we clean the caliper, we put it in water, so naturally water mixes into the grease. That’s how we’re gradually inviting corrosion.
