A polishing request came in along with new ETC antenna bracket fabrication.
It must have been exposed to harsh rain and wind. The corrosion has progressed quite a bit.
The key cylinder is secured with a broken screw, so we had to drill it out and remove it.
We serviced the bar ends as well.
It’s been reborn looking like brand new.
We finished it off with a light urethane clear coat.
The fork caps are catching our eye next, but we’ll save that for another time.
For the ETC antenna bracket, we welded a nut to an SUS304 hose clamp and cut off the excess length.
The plate is also SUS304 sheet metal with a V5 rib, and it’s complete.
It’s adjustable up, down, left, and right. Removal and installation take just one tool—simple and clean is what we think is best. All done.
