The inspection is complete, so let’s do some maintenance.
A thought I had: the front is fixed at two points,
but it floats when inserted. This design won’t break—it’s excellent.
The case has a bearing structure inside. Let’s clean the interior thoroughly.
The sleeve condition looks good.
Even looking at the hole, it’s looking sharp.
Now we assemble and we’re done. Since there’s no linkage, we handled it equivalent to a two-shock suspension.
Moving on to the front.
Compressing the spring is scary. Even for work like this, we wear safety glasses.
I think work injuries basically happen when you cut corners. You always need to be careful.
Let’s flip it upside down and pull it out.
Bleed the air, adjust the oil level, and we’re done.
The speedometer gear is cracked, by the way.
