Moving to the front. There’s some mysterious lubrication. It’s seeping and looks dirty.
Even with plenty of grease applied to the axle… well.
The front axle should be fine.
Squeaking away.
The caliper was in nice condition.
The pad spring is restored too.
Both sides—this is exactly the time for it! A thorough cleaning.
Let’s clean the fork and apply rust-preventive oil too.
