A really worrying-looking crushed finish.
The swing arm is strange—the cut is rough and it’s painted as-is.
It might be better to get a nicer arm, cut it out, and patch it. (Well, for next time.)
With the chain tensioned at the pivot-axle, this is about how much clearance there is. A bit more might be okay, but this should be fine.
Hmm. Handsome. The step studs are discontinued originals and we don’t have them… Do you happen to have one?
