It’s been raining, unfortunately.
Or rather, it feels like it’s been a while. When it rains, people tend to cut back on unnecessary outings…
I think the most important thing is for each of us to take infection prevention seriously.
I can’t go out for test rides and photography…
I have to fit a spacer inside the fairing so the light cover will mount properly.
The lens cover sits at an angle relative to the fairing mounting holes… those were the days when you could just tap-screw it and call it good.
I made an angled spacer. Eight degrees up and down, nineteen degrees left and right (by the metal saw scale).
It’s pretty much a rough fit-to-sample job.
The TechSurf exhaust was way too loud (no baffle), so I added a slight restriction to the barrel. (A bit milder now?)
My DSLR’s shortest lens is 85mm, so getting the full picture inside the shop is tough.
I’ll head outside and shoot it when I get a chance.
