A GPZ900R with an undercowl is refreshing.
Year after year, I’m coming to appreciate the beauty of the original design more and more (‘ω’)ノ
Let’s start with a tire replacement.

The front and rear axle shafts were in good condition (^_-)-☆

The wheel runout was also fine.

The wheel bearings should be fine too. I also lubricated the speedometer cable.

We replace the TR412 every time!

Just applying grease isn’t the answer—it was way too much. I wiped it off. It doesn’t lubricate anything and just gets dirty.

We replaced the tires with Roadsmart IV.
Dunlop really did their homework—I bet they listed the 150/70-18 with a compatible rim width of 3.50 specifically for the Ninja. What do you think?

The caliper bolts looked a bit dated, so I went ahead and swapped them out for Yamaha bolts.
You really can’t beat iron bolts, you know.
To be continued!
