Grab about 1000 yen and order genuine parts from Webike – swap them out quick!
The rubber degrades and hardens, and the damper mounting holes that support the fuel tank deform.
If it stays loose no matter how many times you insert it, replacing it will feel incredibly satisfying.
This time we’re starting with the basics.
New side cover grommets are nice and soft.
Side cover removal and installation becomes smooth – pop, pop!
The risk of the pin breaking during removal or from vibration drops, and the stress of being careful with removal eases up.
It’s all good, so if you think yours is hard or stiff, get on it soon!
Fuses.
Replacing them won’t give you a dramatic effect.
But probably… surely… many bikes haven’t been looked at in years or decades.
Fuses almost never blow these days, but if an electrical problem does occur, it’s the first place you want to check. Replacing them all with new ones will give you peace of mind.
Since contact is basically surface-to-surface only, everywhere else gets pretty dirty.

Next, the grips.
You’re always touching them, and grip feel and thickness are personal preferences.
Swapping them to your liking adds more personality and makes handling easier.
I ended up buying one with a closed end ( ；∀；)
I heavily chamfered the pipe and drove the end out with a hammer to use it.
I really prefer thin grips. When it gets cold, I might want heated grips?
Use a Yamaha throttle to make the inflexible Suzuki throttle standard spec.
